We are part of the “Clean Boats Clean Water (CBCW) Program”


With the growing concern over the spread of aquatic invasive​ species to among Wisconsin’s waters, many people are looking for ways to get involved. The Clean Boats, Clean Waters watercraft inspection program provides an opportunity to take action and help prevent and contain aquatic invasive species.

Through the Clean Boats, Clean Waters program, participants are trained to organize and conduct a boater education program in their communities. Watercraft inspectors talk with boaters and anglers about aquatic invasive species (AIS), demonstrate how to take steps to prevent the spread of AIS, and collect and report data about their outreach efforts. ​
