SEPTEMBER 2026
350 Muskies Stocked in Twin Lakes for Revival Program
On September 25th, 2026 the Wisconsin DNR stocked 350 PIT-tagged Muskellunge fingerlings into North and South Twin Lakes. Due to the difference in size between the two lakes, 275 fingerlings were released into North Twin and 75 into South Twin. This stocking is part of a two-year Musky Stocking Program, with activities scheduled for even-numbered years. The plan is to continue stocking on an even year cycle. The DNR will assess contributions from stocking in future surveys and adjust as needed to meet management goals for the Twin Lakes.
